Hello 2011!

A new year, new possibilities. But before we get enjoying and experiencing all this year offers, I want to look back on last year.  (Inspired by a blogger that I love - Quiet Life)


January brought some lovely weather to enjoy.

February brought teaching moments.



March and he's already changed so much.

 

April

  

May brought packing...


and unpacking.



But we still had time to keep our cool.



June left us tired and worn out from the move.


and I kept messing with my camera while Carus humored me and posed away.


July we played and celebrated the 4th of July,


got in some beach time,



had a lemonade stand


Carus and I went to a concert and met Justin Bieber (in cardboard cutout).

  

Adam got an award signed by President Obama (for Outstanding Educational Achievement).



Some more beach time...


In August we went camping.

And started fall soccer season

And football season.


September and it was starting new schools
   
More football,


More soccer,


and another 5K walk for Race for the Cure.


October was more football and soccer...



And some halloween, haunted house, and trick-or-treating fun.


November brought some snow to play in.


And traditional Thanksgiving family time


December brought photo shoots for Christmas cards complete with outtakes


And goofing off on Christmas day


But we didn't forget to play with our goodies


Then Carus turned 9!



Its been a great year.  Here's hoping 2011 is just as good, and maybe even better!

Good-bye 2010

It was a great year and we've had a lot of fun and some new adventures.  Here's hoping 2011 is just as good, just as fun, and maybe a bit more.

Goodbye 2009

WELCOME 2010!

Saying "twenty ten" is going to take some getting used to.  I like it better than "two thousand ten" though.  Well maybe. 

2009 seemed to go by so quickly! It was a good year for us and 2010 promises an even better one.  I have lots of hopes for 2010, and tons of plans, and things to do, and places to go and people to see.  I've never done New Year's resolutions and I don't know if I want to start now. . .

I resolve to have a great year!

This is not how I want to spend 2010.  We played Monopoly New Years Eve with the kids and this is how I spent most of the game. I went to jail like 10 times - and I was broke so I couldn't just pay to get out; I had to sit there and try to roll doubles which of course I didn't do when I needed them!
